Martha Ingram's (1936-) husband, Bronson Ingram, inherited father's oil and barge empire 1963. Added distribution business: books, computers, videotapes. Martha inherited fortune after Bronson's death. Took Ingram Micro public a year later. Privately held Ingram Industries run by three sons. Active arts supporter in Nashville.
